Puyo Puyo Fever (ぷよぷよフィーバー) is a mobile action puzzle game, in which the player has to match colored pieces. Puyo Puyo Fever was released not only on Japanese feature phones, but also on other PDA platforms such as PocketPC and PalmOS.
A smaller, trial-like version of Puyo Puyo Fever came pre-installed on certain NEC phones, where it was called Puyo Puyo Fever N: Run Run Course.
An official port was also released in China and Southeast Asia for J2ME, localized into Chinese and English respectively, however, only the Chinese J2ME versions and Puyo Puyo Fever N are preserved as of this writing.
This game was followed by Puyo Puyo Fever DX, a more advanced version of the game released on NTT Docomo 90X series phones.
