Hero Must Die (勇者死す。) is an RPG originally released for Japanese feature phones. The game starts with the death of the main character after an epic battle with his ultimate foe. An angel takes pity on him and grants him an extra 5 days of life so he can complete unfinished business in the living world., namely finding his beloved one last time before he passes away.

G-mode re-released an update version of this game called Hero Must Die - Director's Cut (勇者死す。ディレクターズカット). Separately, a remake was made for PS Vita in 2016 called Hero Must Die. Again.

Hero Must Die - Director's Cut (勇者死す。ディレクターズカット) was republished in the G-mode Archives for Nintendo Switch.
