Dragon Quest I is a remake for Japanese feature phones.

Most of the graphics would be used in later versions such as smartphones.

Story

~Once upon a time, in the land of Alefgard, there was a dark darkness known as the devil. A hero named Loto descended from the heavens, and using the ball of 
light bestowed upon him by God, he defeated the darkness, bringing about lasting peace~

Time passed, and in the era of Lars XVI, the Dragonlord suddenly appeared and stole the ball of light, and the world was once again plunged into darkness.

A prophet appeared before the helpless King Lars, and said:

"Soon, someone of Loto's bloodline will appear in this land. He will be the new hero who will defeat the Dragonlord."

A few years later... the story begins when a young man visits Tantegel's castle...
