Chara-den (キャラ電) are avatar video call filters available to users of i-mode devices.
Chara-den contain a variety of mini-animations that correspond which various emotions. These animations could be triggered by pressing different numbers on the numpad.
Many Chara-den consisted of popular characters in media such as the Final Fantasy VII protagonists, Sonic the Hedgehog, and AiAi from Super Monkey Ball.
