Bokujō Monogatari Mobile: Life & Love (牧場物語モバイル Life&Love) was a Japanese-exclusive mobile version of the Bokujō Monogatari series which developed by Marvelous Interactive.[1] It published on November 6, 2006 by Liveware and was available for several mobile services in Japan. This game is based on the heartwarming farm life, such as the fulfillment of growing crops and interacting with animals. The game also includes new elements that make it fun to play, such as adventures in the field “mines”.[2]

The game was deemed as lost media until G-mode re-released it on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) under the G-mode Archives Plus (G-MODEアーカイブス+) on August 22, 2024. .

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

There are two versions in Bokujō Monogatari Mobile: Life & Love, “for Boy” and “for Girl,” and released at the same time. The main difference between “for Boy” and “for Girl” is that the characters in the two games are different. The objective of the game is to find a marriage partner and marry that character while running a ranch. In addition to raising crops and animals, the game also includes events such as adventures in the “mine” and growing flowers in the “flower garden.[2]

G-Mode Archives Re-released[edit | edit source]

On August 22, fans of the bokumono series were shocked by the appearance of the steam page of the game bokumono life & love.This is because the game was deemed lost media for several years since its released in Japan.[3]

G-Mode officially announced the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch and Steam platforms on August 29 and the game is officially released on September 5, 2024 through G-MODEアーカイブス+ (G-MODE Archives Plus) for ¥1000.[4]

In this G-MODE+ version, the Boy & Girl version is included, not separated like the original version. there are not many changes in this G-MODE+ version either, apart from the color palette in the game being changed and it looks like the game was developed using Unity.
